Substitute Certificate done through DESE, follow this link for instructions.

60 college credits, Career Educator certification, or Certified Educator

Background Check done through DESE, $41.75 (to be reimbursed after 10 days of subbing)

Sub teacher pay is $125 a day and $62.50 for 4 hours or less in one day.

Long-term teacher sub, 20 days or longer for one teacher (Maternity leave), on the 21st day it goes to $150 per day.

Sub non-teacher pay is 12.30 per hour. (Paraprofessional, custodian, secretary)
